Junming DUAN (段俊明)
Dr. Junming DUAN is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Engineering (SSE), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). He received his B.Sc. (2016) and Ph.D. (2021) from Peking University. Later he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and then at the University of Würzburg. His research focuses on numerical computation in fluid dynamics, particularly high-order numerical methods and AI-driven efficient reduced-order modeling. Among other recognitions and awards, he was awarded with the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas), and the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs.
