Junming DUAN (段俊明)
Dr. Junming DUAN is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Engineering (SSE), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen). He received his B.Sc. (2016) and Ph.D. (2021) from Peking University. After that he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and then at the University of Würzburg. His research focuses on numerical computation in fluid dynamics, particularly high-order numerical methods and efficient reduced-order modeling. Among other recognitions and awards, he was awarded with the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas), and the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs.
